Braun Series 7 Pro Electric Shaver

I’m writing my review on this based on the upgrade. My series 7 was due for replacement. It served very good life. When I opted for this newest version, it doesn’t cut any closer than the series 7 dead. It doesn’t save me any time and I don’t get any of a better shave than the series 7.It does one thing very good though. If you go several days without shaving, it does a really nice job of cutting the scruff off your face without any pain or anything. It doesn’t really nice job with that.The trimmer is completely different than the series 7 and it does serve more of a purpose on this new design.Four stars for the overall quality of the German product and how well it all fits together. One star lacking because it just doesn’t give a better shave then a series 7 and I really thought this was gonna be an upgrade.

I guess this is the highest level in series 9 or from the top , However, I was surprised by its weak capabilities compared to the lower series . I have the lower category 5 and years have passed and it still works with good efficiency, better than the series 9.

I'm coming from a series 7 razor to the series 9 pro+. My series 7 was ok, and the 9 is different, but not necessarily any better. I'm a daily shaver that was looking for a high quality electric razor. I find the shave is not quite as close as the 7 and the big razor head makes it harder to navigate the harder to get hairs. From the reviews, I was hoping the shave would be better. The unit feels good in the hands so I will not easily drop it, but unlike the 7 that at least had a metal head, this unit is constructed of plastic and rubber. It seems to be put together well, but at this price point, it would be nice to see some metal cladding around it. Charging and noise levels are good, no complaints there. The cleaning unit works well enough, but the cleaner goes in from the back which is not as convenient as the older models which load from the front. I'm confused why they made this change, I do prefer the front loading better but whatever. I'd also like to mention the utility brush getting smaller after each generation they make. I guess the thought is if they make the brush small enough, you'll have no choice but to use their cleaning machine. I think Braun should think about having models aimed at the type of person who needs them (daily shaver, shave every 3 days, etc) instead of marketing one high end shaver that tries to do too much but doesn't do any of them great.

Very happy work this electric shaver. It does get very close shave and it does not irritate my skin.

I wish I could return this or get a refund. I wanted to love this razor after seeing the amazing reviews that it gets. I was looking for something that could give me a really close and clean shave. However, this did not do that.I shaved half of my face with the Series 9 Pro+ and the other half with my old and dying Max-T electric razor. For a fraction of the price, the Max-T gave me an all around better shave. The Series 9 Pro+ literally could not get some of the hairs around my mustache area. It also took forever compared to the Max-T.EDIT: Braun has a money back guarantee policy. Thru that I was able to return the item and get a refund. This razor wasn't for me, but I appreciate their customer service.
